The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game console made by Sony.[3] Development of the console was announced during E3 2003,[4] and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004, at a Sony press conference before E3 2004.[5] The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004,[6] in North America on March 24, 2005,[7] and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005.[8]
The PlayStation Portable is the only handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), as its primary storage medium.[9][10] Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen,[11] robust multi-media capabilities,[12] and connectivity with the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, other PSPs and the Internet.[13][14]

Currently the best choice emu for PSP, Its multi-platform and emulates a decent portion of games.

Constantly updating, jpcsp is fast becomming a great PSP emulator, written completley in java its surprisingly fast, and is just as good as its rival above.

We have not tested this emulator yet so cant give you a rating but from what weve heared shes a good one, the archive contains both win32 and linux versions aswell as the src.
